Description of the cruise ship
This magnificent vessel was built in 1991 in Germany and was recently renovated in 2006. It is one of the best ships on the Black Sea. MS Taras Shevchenko is a high class vessel, built to satisfy the most international safety standards with all modern facilities. All cabins have shower and are equipped with telephone, air conditioning, refrigerator, radio, bathroom. Lower deck cabins have 2 round windows, the main deck have windows that do not open and the upper deck have windows that can be opened. Suites consist of living room and bedrooms and have bath tub. On board there are generous public spaces and contain a sauna and a small swimming pool, beauty salon, post office and souvenir shop, two elegant restaurants - Odessa (62 seats) and Kiev (170 seats). Also, you will find on board 2 bars: Sky-Bar (80 seats) and Panorama (50 seats). Vegetarian meals are available. The crew is young and very attentive. Welcome aboard!

Boarding the ship in Constanta, from 14:00 until 18:00.

Day 2
Arrival at 12:00 in Nessebar.
City tour.
The city has survived the times, being a real city museum, leaving a deep memoriy to those who pass by. Situated on a rocky peninsula of the Black Sea, it is old for more than 3,000 years, Nessebar is a very important historical site because of the color and architecture hard to forget. Nessebar is one of the oldest European cities, as listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city ruins are dating from the ancient greeks and include a temple of Apollo, an agora and a defence wall of the Thracian fortress, several monuments, fortresses, churches. Wooden houses built on 15 centuries and 19 are typical of the Black Sea architecture of that period.

Day 3
Free day.
Sometime ago in Nesebar there were over 80 cathedrals and churches. Today many of them are in ruins, well preserved and a great attraction to the public. Probably the most beautiful church of Nesebar is the Church of St. John. Built in the mid 14th century and dedicated to St. John the Unbeliever, the church was mostly destroyed in an earthquake in 1913, but even now it is a beauty! St. Stephen Church, located near the port, was built in the 10th century. The façade is richly ornamented and on it there are constructed various ceramic figurines of different colors. The same line was followed on the construction of St. Tudor Church.

Leaving in the morning, 1 night in Istanbul and returning the next day in the afternoon.
Transfer and departure by bus to Istanbul at 07:30.
Morning and lunch meals are served package-style.

Between 16:00 and 20:00: city tour, including visits to the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.
At 21:00 - dinner at a local restaurant.
Optional, at 22:00 - Bosphorus Tour (to be paid on the spot).
Next day: breakfast, check out and departure back to Nessebar.

Nowadays, Nessebar is one of the most popular resorts for foreign tourists.
The city is rich in restaurants, clubs and pubs. Prices are lower in Nessebar than in Golden Sands, Albena and Sunny Beach.
Nessebar is a true cultural treasure between the cities along the Black Sea coast, also being a very attractive resort for tourists and every cruise ship stops here!
